Job Opportunity: CNC Miller Setter/Operator
Location: Rotherham
Shift Patterns: Rotating Early and Late Shifts
About the Role: As a CNC Miller Setter/Operator, you'll be responsible for setting up and operating CNC milling machines to ensure precise and efficient manufacturing of components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setting up and operating CNC milling machines
- Interpreting engineering drawings and job specifications accurately
- Selecting and installing tooling and fixtures
- Monitoring machine performance and making necessary adjustments
- Inspecting finished components for quality
- Performing regular maintenance on machinery
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a CNC Miller Setter/Operator
- Familiarity Hurco control systems is essential, Fanuc is also desirable
- Accurate interpretation of engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail and dedication to quality
- Effective communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork
