We are working with a large Civil Engineering Contractor to recruit a Site Supervisor to be based out of their Stroudwater Depot in Gloucestershire.  The role will be working in the Highway Maintenance Delivery Team and responsible for the site supervision on local authority contracts.

The role will be responsible for:

• Site supervision
• Site measurement
• Produce CDM construction phase plans then ensure all safety procedures carried out on site
• Ordering of plant and materials on daily basis
• Undertake site inspections/inductions prior to work starting
• Assist in preparation of weekly cost and value reports.
• Maintain site diary
• Manage subcontractors on site
• Provide ECI to client/designer
• Produce and adhere to works programme
• Regular check of vehicle appearance inside and out
• Actively foster a positive staff morale
• Willingly carry out any reasonable task as requested by a member of management

​What we are looking for:

• GCSE in maths
• NRSWA supervisor
• Knowledge of E-mail, Word and Excel
• Preferably experience in highway or construction sector and managing multiple teams of people
• Knowledge of the construction industry
• Hardworking, professional, willing to learn
