Monday 8am-5pm Friday 8am-1pm on-site

Salary- up to £50,000 depending on experience

CNC Recruitment are working as a recruitment agency in partnership with a leading manufacturer. An exciting opportunity has become available for a Manufacturing Engineer at their facility in Somerset. The successful Manufacturing Engineer will be joining a company that provides high-quality cleaning equipment used in contract and healthcare environments.   They are looking to recruit a brand-new Manufacturing Engineer to join the company on a permanent basis. 

The role will suit an engineer with manufacturing experience.  The company produces using a wide variety of processes, machines, and materials, including sheet metal.

Manufacturing Engineer’s role will involve: –

• Supporting the manufacture of products, improving, and developing current processing methods
• Liaising with suppliers: planning and ordering raw materials
• Liaising with customers: to support and develop products
• Ensuring quality is maintained throughout the procurement and manufacturing process.

Skills required for Manufacturing Engineer:

• Experience working for a manufacturing business (mechanical).
• Knowledge of MRP systems
• Computer literate with knowledge and use of Microsoft packages
• Excellent communication skills
• Process and customer focused.
• Ability to work collaboratively across wider business departments.

Other skills of interest:

• Knowledge of CNC equipment
• Handson experience
• Experience of SolidWorks
