Position: Electrician Supervisor

Locations: Deeside / Liverpool

Hours: Monday to Friday - Days + overtime

Salary: £42,588 Per Annum (DOE)

Contract: Permanent

Due to significant growth, we are recruiting Electrician Supervisors for our client based in Liverpool.
The role will be working in the automotive industry, and the successful candidate must have experience with this type of automation, primarily conveyor system controls.

Duties:

• Ensuring team complies with H&S and other relevant regulations and legislation.
• Overseeing electrical projects and ensuring the successful completion of tasks.
• Assist in planning the priorities and tasks for the team.
• Carrying out the assigned specialised work to the relevant standards, using materials, equipment, and resources as appropriate.
• Operating and checking specialist equipment.
• Supervising team to carry out work to ensure projects are being delivered on time.
• Compiling, collating, maintain and checking records.
• Responding to any incidents and problems that could be encountered.
• Reporting into management.
• Recording and resolving breakdowns and deficiencies
• Liaise with management meetings.

Qualifications

• Degree/ONC/HNC or higher in Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience within a supervisory role.
• Experience with PLC programming (Allen-Bradley/Rockwell, Schneider, Siemens, or equivalent).
• Experience with HMI/SCADA software (Wonderware, Factory Talk View, or equivalent).
• Demonstrated expertise in control system design, development, and maintenance.
• Excellent knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, Profibus, Modbus or equivalent).
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Electrical, Eplan or other electrical design software.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate ideas and solutions effectively.
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is a plus.
