Quality Inspector, Salary: Up to £30,576 per annum, Location: Yeovil, Schedule: Monday - Friday, 35 hours per week

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Inspector to join an expanding company in Yeovil that works with the aerospace, defence, and commercial sectors. In this role, you will work closely with a team of passionate individuals to ensure that all machined and fabricated components meet both client and company standards.

As a Quality Inspector, you will use your extensive knowledge of manufacturing processes to perform the following responsibilities:

• Conducting First Off Inspections
• Performing In Process and Roaming Inspections
• Completing Pre- and Post-Treatment Inspections
• Conducting Goods In Inspections
• Performing Final Inspections
• Producing First Article Inspection Reports to AS9102

To be successful in this role, you must have previous experience in a similar role within a machined and fabricated environment. Additionally, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

• Proficiency in using hand-held measuring equipment such as micrometres, verniers, height gauges, comparators, and thread gauges
• Prior experience in quality assurance within the aerospace industry
• An understanding of tolerances
• Previous experience of CMM Programming 
• The ability to write detailed reports (FAIR to AS9102)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
