Morson Group is excited to offer an exceptional opportunity for a dynamic and skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join a world-leading and innovative company based in Salisbury.
The Senior Electrical Engineer will primarily focus on providing subject matter expertise to the business in the interpretation and implementation of the various legislative and regulatory requirements associated with electrical infrastructure in an explosives manufacturing site.

As a Senior Electrical Engineer you will maintain and continuously improve management systems, plant and equipment to meet Health, Safety and Environmental demands as well as the improvement of plant reliability and effectiveness

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage obsolescence programme for electrical components
• Responsible for all aspects of electrical engineering on site
• Manager of contractor activity
• Specification and delivery of the electrical safety requirements of the Explosive Regulations 2014
• Maintenance of site electrical knowledge base: drawings, manuals ect
• Responsible for Dangerous Substances and Explosives Atmospheres Regulations 2002 (incl.ATEX 137).
• Keep up to date with developments within electrical engineering, especially changes to legislation and standards

Qualification and Experience Required:
• A time-served engineering apprenticeship achieving HNC/HND Electrical based Engineering
• IET Wiring Regulations (18th Edition)
• HV Authorised Person prefeered
• Experience in a high hazard industry
• Knowledge of statutory requirements Electricity at Work Act DSEAR ect
• Risk Assessments and Method Statement
• Autodesk Inventor
