Design Engineer (Medical Device Consumables)

£30,000 – 40,000 + Bonus + Benefits

As Design Engineer ( Consumables Engineer ) you’ll be involved in the whole design and development process from initial concept to manufacture. As a key member of the Consumables design team the Design Engineer ( Consumables Engineer ) will respond to commercial briefs for product changes and product specifications, developing innovative ideas for new and existing products.

As the preferred candidate for the role of Design Engineer you’ll have:

  • Relevant qualifications in materials or design engineering with a strong materials bias
  • Experience in the design and development of products in a regulated industry including but not limited to one of the following: Medical Devices, Defence, Aerospace, Automotive
  • Experience with high volume manufacturing ideally injection moulding and post moulding assembly.
