We are currently recruiting for a metal sheet worker based in Whitley Bridge (DN14)

Shifts:
Monday-Friday

Salary:
£20K-£30K based on experience

Requirements:

  • Fabricate and assemble stainless steel metal Mixing Vessels and components based on engineering CAD drawings and specifications.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, press brakes, metal guillotines and welding equipment to cut, shape/ bend, and join metal parts.
  • Perform stick, mig and tig welding to join metal parts together.
  • Use basic math skills to measure, mark, and cut metal accurately.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and work orders to determine materials required and fabrication process
  • Inspect finished products for quality and ensure they meet specifications
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic and problem solving capabilities

Experience

  • Experience as a Metal Fabricator or similar role
  • Highly proficient in various welding techniques, including stick, mig and tig welding
