Position Overview: As a Mechanical Supervisor in the water sector, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of mechanical projects related to water treatment, distribution, and wastewater management. You will be responsible for supervising a team of technicians and ensuring compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and project deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems in water treatment plants, pumping stations, and distribution networks.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to technicians, ensuring adherence to engineering specifications and best practices.
  • Conduct regular inspections and assessments to identify maintenance needs, equipment malfunctions, and safety hazards.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to plan and execute mechanical upgrades, retrofits, and expansion projects.
  • Monitor inventory levels of spare parts and equipment, and coordinate procurement activities as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, and promote a culture of safety within the team.


Qualifications:

  • SSSTS / SMSTS
  • Mechanical NVQ
  • Drivers License and Transport
  • EUSR Card - Not essential
