Design Engineer
Kings Lynn, Norfolk
Monday – Thursday 7:55am – 4:25pm
Friday – 7:55am – 3:25pm
£25,000 - £40,000 Depending on experience
Benefits: 20 Days holiday + 8 bank holidays (rising to 25 days after 3 years service), standard pension contributions, Christmas closure, family run business, onsite parking.
Are you ready to make your mark in the world of Design, Research and Development? We are seeking a Design Engineer to join a family run engineering company based in Kings Lynn.
We are open to candidates at all different levels in their career so whether you’re a fresh graduate or a seasoned pro with a few years under your belt, we want to hear from you!

What our client can offer you:
- Research, design and development of new designs, processes, tooling, jigs and assembly.
- Maintain standard designs and drawings to include digitalising any older ones.
- Research and development testing of products and processes.
- Maintain and calibrate gauge and measuring equipment.
- Testing of products to include measuring and inspection.
What we are looking for:
- Experience of using CAD systems- ideally Solidworks.
- A Mechanical or design-based qualification and/or:
- 3-5 years experience within a design based role.
- Creative problem solving skills.
- A good attention to detail.
- Good maths skills.
- The ability to work within a small team.
