We are currently in the market to recruit multiple Wastewater (Hydraulic)
Modellers / Catchment Planners for a variety of major long-term frameworks across the UK.

In addition to a range of long-term programmes across the UK water industry my client have successfully won a £100 million single-award framework from United Utilities to support the improvement of river health across the Northwest of England.

About The Team:

Their Water Consulting team consists of Engineers, Modellers, and Data Analysts providing Asset Management and Operational Strategy development, to their Water Industry clients to support business planning and delivery. This is an evolving industry, providing challenges and opportunities that require innovation, dedication, and teamwork to help them meet their clients' needs.

In addition to the United Utilities framework, they also work with several major water companies across the UK, having a broad portfolio of long-term framework agreements in place.

Their Water Consultancy business has a range of prestigious AMP8 programmes leading into AMP9 and beyond, where you'll be securing your career for the next 20 years, leaving a lasting legacy!

About You:

Candidates should possess prior experience with projects in urban drainage settings, along with proficiency in InfoWorks ICM and relevant GIS software.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong teamwork skills and the capacity to seamlessly integrate into a team dynamic. Additionally, they will have the chance to cultivate their skills as a mentor and offer technical guidance to other modeling personnel, showcasing leadership in urban drainage contexts while prioritising exceptional client service.

Your Responsibilities:
· Construct, verify, and maintain various levels of wastewater models.
· Deliver feasibility studies, model use studies, optioneering, and development assessments for wastewater networks.
· Ensure quality of modelling outputs and compliance with standards, specifications, and governance requirements.
· Project management of small projects.
· Maintain strong and collaborative working relationships and interactions with clients.
· Cooperate and communicate effectively with other team members to provide technical support and assistance.
· Operate in accordance with the corporate health and safety, environmental, and quality standards.

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
· You will be expected to demonstrate relevant experience in modelling either a consultancy or water company.
· You will be expected to have proficiency in Excel and Visual Basic.
· Proficient in modelling software using InfoWorks ICM and associated bolt-on packages.
· Working knowledge of GIS Systems (preferably MapInfo, ArcGIS, QGIS).
· Skilled in the manipulation and handling of large datasets.
· You will have demonstrable experience in discipline-specific data analysis packages, which may be water-focused such as InfoWorks or InfoAsset.
· General understanding of the UK water industry.
· Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications:
· Preferably degree qualified in a relevant technical subject. Postgraduate qualifications are an advantage.
· Chartership or working towards chartership for Senior or Principal grades.
