Due to an extended period of exponential growth, we are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join the expanding design team.

 

About The Mechanical Design Engineer Role

You will be responsible for mechanical design and development of bespoke equipment and machinery.

The Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for:

 

  • Design bespoke automation solutions to meet client needs and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with teams to translate concepts into detailed engineering plans.
  • Use CAD software to create 3D models and technical drawings.
  • Participate in design reviews for feedback and alignment with goals.
  • Integrate cutting-edge tech to enhance efficiency and reliability.
  • Create bills of materials and source components for production.
  • Oversee prototype assembly, testing, and validation.
  • Provide technical support during implementation and integration.
  • Document processes, specifications, and test results.
  • Ensure adherence to safety and ethical practices.

A successful Mechanical Design Engineer will need:

  • 3+ years of equipment design experience
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD.
  • Demonstrate prior experience in a machinery/equipment manufacturing related sector.
  • Full Rights to work in the UK
