The Design Engineer job role itself where you will provide an accurate and timely design solution to all storage requirements for internal & external customers, More specifically:
- Evaluate technical solutions to meet customer requirements
- Produce high-quality drawings and layouts using CAD packages
- Produce accurate bill of materials for system entry
- Ensure all designs comply to CDM rules and SEMA/FEM codes of practice
- Increasing sales through prompt design costings
- Provide technical assistance to all internal and external stakeholders

You will have
To be successful as a Design Engineer, you will have a healthy mix of the following:
Essential:
- Drawing software (AutoCAD packages).
- Competent IT user including Word, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook.
- Minimum GCSE A-C (pre 2018) or 9-4 (from 2018) in English, Science and Maths.
- Level 3 or above qualification in general engineering.
Desirable:
- Previous industry knowledge, including pallet racking, shelving and mezzanine.
- Good understanding of CDM 2015 regulations
• Revit BIM modelling experience
