The company currently has an exciting opportunity for a Design Engineer to join their newly established research and development function.
This is a role that promises scope for growth across various focus areas with real mid to long term opportunities as the company continues to scale. Not only that, but you will be playing an instrumental part in making a meaningful difference to their customers.
Design Engineer role & responsibilities:
- Maintain product design control log
- Manage product quality issues
- Product design input and amend drawings using CAD
- Product documentation creation
- Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers
- Liaise with other departments when developing products and capturing design change requirements
- Degree qualification (or equivalent) in Engineering or Scientific discipline
- Product development process experience desirable
- Broad understanding of manufacturing processes
- Practically minded
- Demonstrable 3D CAD modelling experience
- Good attention to detail
- Salary per annum £30,000 to £35,000
- Working hours are 8am-4.30pm
