Responsibilities:
- The Mechanical Engineer must Maintain, service, and repair machinery used in manufacturing.
- The Mechanical Engineer must Minimize production downtime and keep work areas clean.
- The Mechanical Engineer must Perform preventive maintenance as needed.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Manufacturing background is preferred but not required.
- Completed apprenticeship with at least mechanical qualifications.
- Able to read engineering diagrams.
- Familiar with safety and light circuits, inverters, PLC systems, relays, and speed control systems.
- Skilled in working with sensors.
- The Mechanical Engineer must have Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic control systems is a plus.
- Mechanical understanding of gearboxes, pumps, and pneumatics is beneficial.
- Capable of prioritizing and planning tasks under pressure.
- The Mechanical Engineer must Follow health and safety protocols and manual handling procedures.
