Location:

Salary/Rate:
£70,000 - £80,000/annum

Our Client is looking for a Principal Geotechnical Engineer to play a leading role in our growing start-up (if you can call an 8 year old consultancy a start-up?).

The role is flexible and hybrid but you should be based around one of our offices in Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Oxford or Brighton and be prepared to be in the office 2 or 3 days a week as a minimum.

We need someone with offshore foundation design experience - think monopiles, PISA, suction caissons, pin piles etc. but - more importantly - we need people who are enthusiastic, task orientated, curious, friendly and focused on quality and innovation in offshore foundation engineering.

You'll be a Technical Authority on foundation design and installation at the company. You'll lead a team of like-minded engineers on projects of global significance. You'll be able to build your brand and ours and be central to the companies success going forward.

You'll have significant responsibility and autonomy. You'll report to our Geotechnical Manager who sits on our Leadership Team. The role is client facing and is critical to our reputation and success.

Requirements

You have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

You're a team player with a desire to learn and teach.

You have a degree in civil engineering, engineering geology or a similar subject and you have demonstrable experience in offshore foundation design and installation analyses.

You are chartered with a relevant professional body and curious to learn more about our industry and innovative techniques and solutions.
