Job Title: Freelance Site Manager - Refurbishment Project

Location: Manchester (Trafford Park), United Kingdom  
Duration: 3-month initial contract (potential for longer-term opportunities on other projects)  
Start Date: 14th May 2024  
Day Rate: £250-£275 per day (negotiable based on experience)

Are you a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager looking for your next exciting challenge? We are seeking a dedicated Freelance Site Manager to oversee a refurbishment project in Manchester's Trafford Park area. This project involves the refurbishment of an existing building situated in a bustling and vibrant part of Manchester.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the refurbishment project.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Monitor and enforce health and safety regulations on-site, ensuring compliance with CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid, and Asbestos Awareness requirements.
  • Supervise and manage the site team, ensuring productivity and quality standards are met.
  • Maintain detailed project documentation and reports, including progress reports, budgets, and safety records.

Requirements:

  • CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) certification.
  • SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification.
  • First Aid certification (3-day course).
  • Asbestos Awareness certification.
  • Proven experience as a Site Manager or in a similar role on refurbishment projects.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Start Date: 10th June 2024  
Duration: 12 weeks+  
Day Rate: £250-£275 per day (negotiable based on experience)
