Main duties for the Field Service Engineer:

  • Execute service actions, installations, and problem diagnosis for industrial machinery.
  • Perform preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment.
  • Train new and existing customers on hardware and software maintenance procedures.
  • Diagnose technical errors and determine appropriate solutions.
  • Share knowledge and insights with team members to enhance expertise.
  • Document service actions according to industry standards.
  • Manage spare parts requests and ensure timely delivery to customers.
  • Assist in sales and service consultations, providing technical expertise.
  • Support machine operations at events and exhibitions.
  • Foster positive relationships with customers through attentive support and service.

Candidate Requirements for the Field Service Engineer:

  • 1 year of related experience in mechanical engineering, laser cutting/ bending technology preferred
  • Having a basic understanding and knowledge of PLC/ CNC - systems and mechanical engineering
  • An engaged and courageous personality with a strong focus on customer satisfaction
  • The willingness to build sustainable relationships with colleagues and supervisors based on honesty and empathy
  • Ability to or willingness to learn how to work with a DMS, CRM (Microsoft Dynamics), LMS (SAP Success Factors) and Microsoft Office
  • Readiness to travel approximately 50 % or related field
  • Driving license
